About The Role As Everflow’s first Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our future by identifying, developing, and implementing AI-powered solutions across both internal operations and product offerings. You will lead the development of our AI strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore feasibility and use cases, and leverage cloud-based AI tools—preferably Google Cloud AI—to build impactful, scalable applications. What You'll Do - AI Strategy & Innovation: Define and champion the company's AI strategy, aligning it with business objectives and product vision.
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to enhance internal efficiency, optimize our platform, and develop new product features.
- Feasibility & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, sales, and other internal stakeholders to assess the technical and business feasibility of AI initiatives.
- Cloud AI Implementation: Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and solutions using cloud-based AI platforms, with a strong preference for Google Cloud AI services (e.g., Vertex AI, Natural Language AI, Vision AI, Recommendations AI).
- Solution Design & Prototyping: Design and prototype scalable and reliable AI/ML solutions, ensuring performance and integration with our existing infrastructure.
- Internal Tooling & Automation: Build AI-powered tools and automation to streamline internal processes and improve decision-making.
- Product Feature Development: Contribute to the ideation, design, and development of innovative AI-driven features that enhance the value and user experience of the Everflow platform.
- Data Exploration & Preparation: Work with data engineers to understand, clean, and prepare data for AI/ML model development and training.
- Model Evaluation & Deployment: Evaluate the performance of AI/ML models and deploy them effectively into production environments.
- Staying Current: Continuously research and evaluate the latest advancements in AI/ML and cloud technologies.
- Communication & Documentation: Clearly communicate AI concepts, progress, and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Document designs and implementations.
Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience (ideally 2+ years) in applying AI/ML techniques to real-world problems.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience with cloud-based AI platforms is highly preferred, with specific experience in Google Cloud AI (Vertex AI, etc.) being a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI/ML (e.g., Python).
- Experience with data processing and manipulation tools and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A passion for AI and its potential to revolutionize the marketing technology landscape.
Bonus Points - Experience with marketing technology or SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
