Production Coordinator

Would you value opportunities to learn more about and possibly contribute on the creative and technical side?

Are you productive, thorough, and effective on your own with minimal guidance, including where lite learning curves may be involved?

Can you strike an effective balance between quality control and efficiency?

Would you enjoy a job where you get to tell your boss what to do and scold him if he doesn't do it in time?

I need your help to get a bunch of fun creative projects off the ground:

I am in need of ongoing, part-to-full time assistance with a variety of tasks, which could include:

• Project management / productivity assistance.
• Identifying top priorities / blockers to keep a project moving and keeping me accountable to getting them done.
• Assisting with outsourcing fun creative tasks: finding the right talent, reviewing submissions, exercising some quality control, etc.
• Gathering reference material for 3D projects.
• Lite research projects.
• Video editing.
• Possibly some lite website updates, content writing, entry-level SEO, etc.
• If you have design, illustration, 3D, UI, video, web / code skills or aspirations, I will provide you with some lite work and mentorship in these areas.

Current Projects needing your assistance:

• A nerdy sci-fi app Kickstarter for table-top gamers.
• A hiking-themed board game Kickstarter.
• An interactive musical VR application.
• An interactive VR retail environment app for visual impairment experience / research.
• Updating and publishing a number of 3D asset collections.
• Videos on the negative impacts of housing profiteers.
• A wiki project for tracking the ethical misdeeds of corporations and people in positions of power and influence.
• A class-action application for tenancy advocates & law-firms.

The work may start part or full time, contracted or employed, depending on your skills and availability.

A local hire in Victoria, BC Canada would be preferable, but remote is an option.

The office is funky and relaxed, the work will be varied, interesting and flexible, the compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill set. If you're making an excellent contribution to helping bring these projects to life, there's an opportunity to take on an essential role in the evolution of the business, with bonuses and compensation increases to match.
