Company Profile

• A foreign-based tech firm in the intersection of AI and Life Sciences is now in the process of expanding in Japan and APAC. For the last 5 years, the firm has developed a sophisticated AI and Machine Learning platform that aims to enhance cost and time-intensive processes in the life sciences sector.

The Role

• Be the first person on the ground in Japan (and Asia), manage and grow a book of business, of the top Pharma companies in the region
• Understand the dynamics and rapid changes in the industry to be in tune with customer pain points and tailor appropriate product positioning
• Act as a CxO advisor (and other relevant departments) in the cross-section of AI and Life Sciences
• Develop a go-to-market strategy for Japan (Asia) and build a local team to execute on it

Your Skills

• Significant experience in a prior leadership role in a software firm (Country leadership or VP) or management consulting (Partner level)
• Experience selling to a diverse audience in the pharma sector (CxO, technical or science/R&D)
• Superb analytical and strategic thinker
• Japanese (fluent level); English (fluent level)

Salary

• 30,000,000 yen - 35,000,000 yen
