Client Profile

Our client, a global leader in the healthcare industry headquartered in the U.S., is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to join their expanding finance team in Japan.
As the company continues its growth across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, this role offers the chance to be a key part of high-impact financial decision-making at both regional and global levels.

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support senior management decisions
• Manage capital allocation and optimize use of financial resources
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Evaluate investment opportunities (e.g., ROI, NPV, cost-benefit analysis)
• Partner with accounting, operations, and business units to drive performance
• Monitor and report key financial and operational KPIs
• Support M&A activities including due diligence, financial modeling, and integration
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Candidate Profile

• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or financial advisory
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Japanese (spoken and written)
• Business-level English proficiency
• Background in Big 4 (audit, transaction services, or advisory) is highly regarded

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a multinational or fast-paced corporate environment
• Exposure to M&A, capital budgeting, or strategic finance initiatives
• Commercial mindset and ability to influence decision-makers
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, international setting
