About this Position The primary role of this position is to manage the
Contract manufacturing site to provide the right manufacturing solution for
Henkel business in compliance with Henkel and external standards. This will
entail leading the development and implementation of short- and long-term
strategies to ensure that the CM site operates at optimum manufacturing
efficiency and output levels while highest Safety, Quality, Environmental
standards and excellent customer service is maintained.
She/he is playing a key role in deploying the global
Production strategy by the correct use of all methodologies and tools. SHE, Quality,
Hygiene, Efficiency, Utilization, Inventory Management and Customer Service
levels will be measured according to agreed metrics and goals.
The position also works closely with Cluster
production, SHE, Quality, Hygiene, Planning, Purchasing & other areas as
regional and international SHE-Q, Engineering, R&D, Purchasing and
Controlling.
What you'll do - Manages contract manufacturing organization and capability for the BU to ensure quality products supply on time.
- Monitor and Check compliance of social standards, SHEQ, stock taking, Service level, Yield, Cost including P&L and performance in line with legal and Henkel requirements
- Regularly reviews and evaluates BU 3PM compliance performance with support from relevant site compliance related professional
- Collaborates with audit team to conduct BU 3PM compliance audit as per plan Follow up with findings to ensure timely closure
- Coordinates with business / Purchasing / relevant site team to select and consolidate tollers
- Manage BU 3PM complaints by Henkel's CCMS and SCMS and be responsible for routine toller key performance of BU technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery and cost with monthly BU 3PM reports
- Ensures effective system available to protect Henkel BU technologies, business information and Henkel supplied materials
- Support NPI project and liaise with CM for communication and investment
What makes you a good fit - Bachelor Degree, Degree inmechanical,
electrical, manufacturing, production engineering preferred
- 5-10 years experience in relevant positions
- 3+ years managerial experience
- High levels of communication in both English and Japanese
