Responsibilities

 

  • Participating in the preparation of Tender documents for EPC contracts, focusing on technical requirements
  • Collaboration in the negotiation of Contracts
  • Preparation and regular update of the Construction Management Plan
  • Management of contractors, including claims, ensuring compliance of the contracted terms and conditions
  • Management of technical assistance and/or specialist services, interfaces across contractors, internal and external stakeholders, change orders
  •  Supervising on-site activities
  • Optimize capex and schedule against forecasts and budgets
  • Revision of documentation, drawings, procedures, ensuring compliance with the project
  • Contribution to communication plan, reporting, including management of daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Management of commissioning, operational Test and final compliance check and preparation of hand over dossier
  • Clearly communicate project progress, milestones and challenges to relevant stakeholders
  • Close out of management of contractors, up to signature of the Take Over Certificates
  • Contribute to definition and improvement of construction vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to seek for construction excellence and boost performance to deliver projects meeting requirements
  • Understand and comply with company policies, processes and procedures as well as ensuring that construction of projects are in accordance with legislation, ethics, standards and good practices across the onshore wind and solar PV industry, tender requirements, regulatory aspects and project policies.
  • Represent EDPR with relevant stakeholders, such as agencies and institutions, both public and private, in relation to matters relating to its responsibility in order to reinforce EDPR reputation and competency in the market and benefit the interests of EDPR.

  • Strong communication, project management, problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Language: Proficient in English and Japanese
