Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at-all from Day One. **Job Description** We are seeking a dynamic leader to manage a team of collectors responsible for overseeing defaulted contracts across various stages of delinquency and diverse industry portfolios. Manage a high-performing team operating in a hybrid and remote environment, fostering collaboration, accountability, and engagement across home-based and on-site team members, who oversee defaulted contracts in varying stages of delinquency and different types of industry and portfolios. This role involves directing collection activities within assigned areas, ensuring timely review and recovery of past-due accounts to meet delinquency targets while minimizing loss ratios and risk exposure. The position requires strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. As the Core Collection Site Leader for our Gresham location, you will also be responsible for team recruitment, retention, and fostering a high-performance culture. **Key Responsibilities** : + Lead and manage a team of collectors handling delinquent accounts across multiple portfolios. + Oversee collection strategies to achieve performance goals with minimal risk. + Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. + Drive team engagement, development, and retention. + Serve as the primary site leader for the Gresham location. **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience + Two to three years of experience in collections and financial services industry + Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience **Preferred Skills/Experience** + Basic knowledge of loan collection techniques, policies, procedures, and principles of credit lending + Working understanding of collection laws and regulations + Basic knowledge of consumer, residential, commercial, and/or dealer-originated installment lending + Familiarity with online collection systems + Basic knowledge of general organizational operations and procedures + Strong planning and organizational skills + Good managerial skills + Ability to resolve moderate problems with minimal guidance + Excellent verbal and written communication skills Location expectations: This role requires working from a U.S Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
