Position Summary We are looking for a talented dedicated Class 1 Truck drivers with exceptional customer service to join our fleet.
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
- Start time : Varies
- Everyday Home
What You Will Do - Willing to drive anywhere within Calgary and surrounding arears
- Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
- Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
- Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
What You’ll Bring - Valid Class 1 License is required
- Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
- Minimum 1 year of highway experience required
- Experience with Straight Truck/ Curtain Side required
- Must operate manual transmission
- Must have heavy lifting and hand bombing expreince
- Moffett experience will be an asset, training will be provided if required
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with smartphone technology
- Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
- Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
