**The opportunity** Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Cage Cashiers to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests. All team members receive benefits including: + Weekly pay + Employee assistance program + Training and development opportunities + Employee discounts + Flexible work schedules Eligible team members may also receive: health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, and tuition and/or professional certification reimbursement. **What will you do?** + Handle large sums of money including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services + Maintain an accurate count of banks + Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor + Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits + Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures **More about you** + Must be at least 21 years of age + Six months' cash handling experience; experience handling large amounts of money + Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction + Basic computer skills required (Microsoft office products word & excel) + No high school diploma or GED required **Physical requirements** + Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds + Exposure to secondhand smoke **Shift details** Every weekend Weekends Holidays Overnight Evening shift 8 hour shift Overtime as needed **Who we are** Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook.
