Canadian Helicopters is a helicopter transportation service, maintenance support and flight training company. In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is Canada's largest helicopter operator with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircrafts.

Job Description



We currently have an exciting opportunity for pilots, as we are hiring First Officers for the Bell 212.

Responsibilities :

  • Act as a First Officer as per Company operation standards;
  • Act as a VFR Pilot when required;
  • Any other responsibility related to the position.

Qualifications

  • A Valid Transport Canada CPL(H) License;
  • Have a valid authorization to work in Canada, this position is not available for sponsorship.
  • Minimum 500 hours rotary wing flight time;
  • Night rating is a mandatory requirement;
  • Must have successfully written ATPL(H) exams;
  • NVG training/experience will be considered an asset;
  • Transport Canada Group IV Instrument rating;
  • Arctic experience - would be considered an asset;
  • An endorsement on the Bell 212/412 considered an asset;

Other requirements:

  • Be customer focused and a team player;
  • Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;
  • Accept assignments at different locations, as required.

Position Type : Contractual 

Schedule : Equal rotation based on 4 weeks cycle during the winter; Bell 212 First Officers shall act as VFR Pilots during summer months.
