AV SYSTEMS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST

Boston, MA

Fusco Personnel is seeking an experienced AV Systems Integration Specialist to join a growing technology integration team supporting modern, software- and network-based audiovisual solutions.

This role is ideal for a hands-on AV professional with strong configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting expertise in commercial environments.  You will be responsible for configuring, testing, and commissioning integrated AV systems both in a lab environment and in the field. You will work with industry-leading collaboration platforms and AV technologies, ensuring high-quality system performance and a seamless end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and prepare AV systems in both lab and field environments
• Perform rack fabrication, wiring verification, and termination testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve system configuration and integration issues
• Load, test, and document customized control programs, touch panel files, and DSP builds
• Configure and commission collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx)
• Support and commission solutions from leading manufacturers (Neat, Logitech, Poly, Cisco)
• Complete system testing, commissioning, and documentation using field reports
• Provide end-user training and client-facing support as needed
• Assist with system design, testing, and continuous process improvement
• Develop and maintain configuration standards and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial AV installation, commissioning, and service
• Strong working knowledge of Crestron, Biamp, Extron, and QSC systems
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx conferencing environments
• Proven experience with commercial AV systems including displays, projectors, video walls, rack wiring, and cabling
• Experience with audio tuning, equalization, and DSP programming
• Solid networking knowledge; certifications or formal training a plus
• Familiarity with AV industry software platforms; programming experience is a plus
• Ability to use AV hand tools and aerial lifts safely and effectively
• Organized, proactive, and strong communicator

Preferred Certifications

• AVIXA CTS or CTS-I
• Crestron Certified Technician (CQT)

Salary

• $40.00-$48.00/hour
