Job : In accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the Saskatchewan Health Region and the Region's Mental Health and Addictions services, reporting to the Director of Community Health Services, the Autism Spectrum Disorders Consultant will work with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or suspected ASD up to age 19 years. The incumbent shall function within the Framework and Action Plan for Autism Spectrum Disorders Services in Saskatchewan

Experience
- Two years experience working with children with ASD
Education
- Master's Degree in a recognized human services field
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis
- Training in normal and abnormal child development
- Training in Autism Spectrum Disorder and treatment
Competencies
- Supervisory skills

- Leadership skills
- Problem solving skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in evidence based research
- Ability to coordinate, mediate and negotiate on behalf of families and children
