KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. is the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) regulated entity through which KPMG LLP's investment banking services are provided in Canada. KPMG's Corporate Finance services are primarily comprised of merger and acquisition (“M&A”) advisory, capital advisory and strategic advisory services.  

We offer independent financial advisory and investment banking services to both private and public companies. We provide clients with pure, objective advice, focusing on strategies that can help meet corporate or shareholder objectives. We are one of the largest M&A advisors in Canada, both in terms of number of advisors and number of transactions. We are also part of a global platform of over 2,600 corporate finance professionals working from 160 offices in 86 countries, providing KPMG Corporate Finance with broad reach and capabilities. Our Corporate Finance team in Toronto is looking for a professional like you with the skills and drive to make a real difference.  

As an Associate Vice-President, Corporate Finance Inc. you will develop extensive transaction advisory experience through your involvement in the day-to-day execution of our  mandates.

·         Assist with preparation of pitch books, teasers and confidential information memorandums and management presentations 

·         Prepare integrated historical and projected financial models to support key decision making

·         Assist in identification of potential acquisition targets, purchasers and/or investors. 

·         Communicate directly with a variety of parties including clients, other advisors and transaction counterparties. 

·         Assist in coordinating and organizing due diligence for clients. 

·         Provide analytical and market research information (i.e. public company pricing multiples, industry research, etc.)

·         CPA and/or CFA designation required 

·         Post-secondary degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or public accounting 

·         Proven track record of project execution in a similar fast-paced professional setting 

·         Strong technical finance proficiency, including knowledge of financial statements, valuation and general accounting principles 

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills 

·         Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

·         Highly motivated, committed, and flexible to work and succeed within changing priorities and strict deadlines.  

·         Attention to detail with proven organizational skills and an ability to solve complex technical problems
