Your new role
Step into a dynamic role as Assistant Property Manager, where you'll play a key part in ensuring seamless property operations. Working alongside the Property Manager, you’ll take charge of essential tasks such as tracking insurance, overseeing monthly rent management in Yardi, and coordinating with the Accounts Receivables team. Your day-to-day will also involve assisting with unit showings and move-ins, handling turnovers, evaluating rental pricing, drafting lease agreements, and managing maintenance work orders. Beyond that, you'll be responsible for property inspections, tenant relations, property tax analysis, and keeping documentation updated within Yardi.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, candidates should have proven experience in residential property management (as an administrator or coordinator). A bachelor’s degree or relevant education in business and/or real estate is considered an asset. Familiarity with Yardi software and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are also advantageous. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and expand knowledge in residential and commercial real estate are essential. The ability to handle sensitive information with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality is highly valued. You must have a valid BC Driver’s License as driving is required to visit sites for inspections and suite showings.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary between $70,000-$75,000, 3 weeks’ vacation, discretionary bonus, car allowance and extended health package.
