There is no option to work remotely. site environment Noisy At heights Work setting Re Relocation costs covered by employer Responsibilities: Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble Inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures Perform and document routine maintenance Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge Data acquisition system (DAS or DAQ) Aviation special processes Plasma spraying Heat treatment Aircraft experience Large jet airplanes Type of industry experience Aircraft manufacturing Commercial air carrier Military aviation Repair and overhaul facility Training organizations Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization Propulsion - dynamic components Turbine engines Additional information Security and safety Basic security clearance Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Accurate Dependability Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Initiative Judgement Reliability Team player Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial benefits As per collective agreement Group insurance benefits Life insurance Pension plan Last Date: 2025-05-23
