Braeburn Lake Summer Camp is a small, rustic camp located on Braeburn Lake (about 90 minutes north of Whitehorse). Our volunteer board includes representation from four Christian communities: Trinity Lutheran Church, Anglican Diocese of the Yukon, Catholic Diocese of Whitehorse, and Whitehorse United Church.
This is a Whitehorse-based position. The majority of work can be done from home.
POSITION: One part-time staff person. $25 - 40 per hour, 6 - 8 hrs/week for approximately 44 weeks. The majority of the work is required from late fall to early summer. This position would report to the President of the Board, and provide administrative and technical support as we modernise our organisation. Work duties include monitoring registrations using Amilia registration software, basic records management, basic bookkeeping and general administrative support for the Board.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have excellent computer skills, organizational skills, be a self-starter, good working with people and working alone. Assets: experience with Braeburn Camp and QuickBooks online. Must have or be willing to complete: Commit to Kids training (2 hour online course, cost of which will be reimbursed for the successful candidate) & RCMP Security Check.
