ACP Applied Products 

Construction Division

Base: Stony Plain, Alberta

Position: Labourer,  Full-time Seasonal

Start Date: Tentatively April 28, 2025 (weather dependent)

Main Responsibilities

This position is part of the ACP Applied Products  Construction Division . We are based in Stony Plain (20 minutes west of Edmonton) and may require working out of town approximately 50% of the time, as well as occasional night shifts. As a Labourer you will be responsible to comply with safe work procedures and practices while you contribute to the teams road marking projects. Versatility, flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude are required in this position. Your responsibility is to provide support to the Construction Division in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Must be available to start work immediately
• A high school diploma or GED an asset
• Valid driver's license (Class 5) with a recent commercial drivers abstract
• Must own reliable transportation 
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to perform manual labour (ability to lift up to 40kg/90lbs)
• Willing to work out of town occasionally, for up to 2 weeks at a time (Work in AB, BC, SK, YT, NWT & MB)
• Willing to work occasional night shifts
• Construction experience is an asset
• Experience with safety regulations and safe practices is an asset
• Ability to work in uncertain outdoor conditions
• Ability to work overtime hours
• Ability to comply with our Drug and Alcohol Policy, including a no tolerance policy on Cannabis use
