Responsibilities:

• Perform routine aircraft maintenance for optimal performance.
• Verify mechanical systems function properly before flights.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Inspect engines, wings, propellers, and components for damage or defects.
• Lubricate joints, replace worn or damaged hoses, and conduct inspections.
• Follow maintenance manuals for precise repairs and replacements.
• Install new parts to replace faulty components or enhance performance.
• Repair sheet metal and test engines and systems for proper functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues based on inspections and crew feedback.
• Collaborate with A&P mechanics on engine and non-instrument repairs.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an FAA-accredited technical school (minimum 1,900 class hours).
• FAA-certified A&P mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA).
• 5-6 years of experience as a General Aviation. 
• Experience with Cirrus Aircraft preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft parts, systems, mechanics, and testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or record-keeping software.
• Detail-oriented with strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and issue resolution.
• Physically capable of standing, kneeling, lifting up to 70 lbs, and working at heights.
